Darfur Action

Since 2003 more than 450,000 men, women, and children of Darfur, the western province of Sudan, have been killed and another 2.5 million have become refugees as the result of an indiscriminate and brutal campaign of murder and rape that has to be called by its correct name - genocide. Darfur Action is a group of concerned and committed Guilford County residents who believe they are morally obliged to take a stand against the genocide. Darfur Action strives to raise awareness of the atrocities in Darfur, respond to the desperate need for humanitarian relief, and strongly advocate for action to end the mass violence.
