The preschool class provides a fun, loving, and welcoming environment for children age three through five to begin their faith formation. It provides weekly rituals and routines that make young children comfortable, but it also encourages creativity and imagination as they begin their spiritual exploration.

The centerpiece of this class is the weekly Bible lesson, which is the same lesson used in Worship each Sunday. This consistency strengthens the children's interest in worship and provides a common basis for families to share.

A variety of age-appropriate activities combine to help the children understand the Bible lesson and relate it to their daily lives. Some of these activities include:

  • Storytelling
  • Discussion
  • Singing
  • Crafts
  • Creative Play
  • Service Project

This class prepares young children for participation in Worship by introducing them to the liturgical calendar, Communion, the offering of gifts, and songs and prayers used in Worship.
