Women's Fellowship and Circles
All women in the church are welcome. You are cordially invited to join the Women's Fellowship and a Circle and be an active participant in our church's ministry. Come and share your gifts, enjoy the fellowship and help accomplish the mission.
Mission Statement
In the belief that women bring special abilities to the church, it is the mission of the Women's Fellowship of Congregational Church of Christ:
- To unite in worship, to search for God's truth, to strive for a growing and steadfast faith, and to witness to God's love for all people.
- To advance the ministry of the church by providing opportunities to develop leadership.
- To support and assist in the activities of the congregation, which enrich the life of the church.
- To engage in active outreach to the local and worldwide community.
- To support and nurture the youth of the congregation; to comfort and care for the elderly and those who are sick or bereaved.
- To meet regularly for meaningful study and fellowship.
- To strengthen the bonds of friendship among the members of the fellowship, and to be present with each other in times of trial and rejoicing
The Women's Fellowship meets as a body four times a year: September, December, Lent and June.
Circles meet on Tuesday during the third week of the month.
- Morning Circle meets at 10:30 AM
- Evening Circle meets at 7:00 PM
The Women's Fellowship participates in the following projects: Fun Club, Lions Club, Food Bank, Mobile Meals, Summit House, Joseph's House, Migrant Workers, Blankets, One Great Hour of Sharing, Strengthen the Church, Church World Service.
