Intergenerational

Chancel Choir (Ages 15 and up)

The Chancel Choir sings in regular worship services and at special holiday services. The choir provides leadership in singing hymns and responses used in worship and by singing anthems relating to the liturgical emphasis of the day. Join this group of dedicated singers who come to sing for praise, fellowship, and fun. Directed by CUCC Music Director Jimmy Buchanan. Rehearsals are held Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 AM. Optional sectional rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM.

Handbell Choir (Ages 10 and up)

Handbell Choir

The handbell choir plays in worship services and at special holiday services. You do not need to read music to play handbells. Handbell Choir rehearsals are held on Monday evenings at 7:00 PM. Directed by Jimmy Buchanan.

Women's Music

Bella a Cappella

The Bella a Cappella is a unique women's choir with an emphasis on a cappella choral music literature. Directed by Edna Olayiwola. Rehearsals are held on Monday night from 6:30-7:30 PM.

Men's Music

Fella a Capella

The Fella a Cappella is a unique men's choir modeled on Bella a Capella. Directed by Edna Olayiwola.

Solo

Solo opportunities are open to all with abilities in voice or instrumental. Share your love of music with us in worship and at special events such as the annual Talent Show.

Children

Children's Choir

The Children's Choir provides an opportunity for children to experience sacred music in a fun setting. Rehearsals are held on the second and fourth Mondays at 5:30 PM. Children's choir meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 5:30 PM. Parents are invited to stay around and chat and join in a supper at 6:30 PM. Directed by Edna Olayiwola.

The Children's Handbell Choir lets children take their first steps in reading music and making a joyful noise! Handbells meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 5.30 PM. Parents are invited to stay around and chat, and join in a supper at 6.30 PM Directed by CUCC Music Director Jimmy Buchanan.

Remembering Isa Dollyhigh and Jorge Guerra

On Saturday, March 22, 2008, Isa Dollyhigh, our beloved Music Director, her husband, Jorge Guerra, and her mother, Coleen Dollyhigh were tragically killed in a car accident.
