SMALL GROUPS CONTINUE: Our Small Groups will continue to meet this week. Please contact the group facilitators if you have questions or are unable to attend.
HOMELESSNESS IN GREENSBORO: The Morning Circle is sponsoring a program on homelessness in Greensboro at 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 16 in the Fellowship Hall. All who are able to attend are invited to this informative program. Learn current figures. Discuss causes, potential solutions, and road blocks. Learn what the needs are and who the agencies are that are working with this group of people. The speaker will be Michele Forrest of Street Watch, an outreach ministry to the homeless of Greensboro.
SANTA IS CALLING FOR HIS ELVES TO ANSWER THE CALL TO ONCE AGAIN HELP FAMILIES IN NEED - THIS TIME FOR EASTER. We will be collecting non-perishable food items to distribute to the families that we helped this past Christmas, as well as any others our contacts provide us. The number of families that we are able to take will depend on the amount of food collected. The food collection will take place from through March 21. You can drop off your donations in the box in the Narthex or in the box outside the Fellowship Hall. You may also make monetary donations by writing a check to CUCC and marking "Elves at Easter" on the memo line. All donations need to be turned in no later than March 21.
