THE DEACONS WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE who signed up to participate and assist the various church ministry teams. The enthusiasm was wonderful and we know we are going to have a great year working together! A member from each team will be contacting everyone who signed up with more details as they are available.
"COOKING WITH BUTCH": HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18th AT 2:30 PM - We will join together in the CUCC Fellowship Hall/Kitchen to prepare meals that can be placed in the freezer at church. These meals will be available to be delivered to members that are ill or in need of a meal.
Reasons to join in this effort with the Deacons:
1. Help stock the refrigerator with meals that can be used on short notice.
2. Meet people you may not already know in the church.
3. Spend time with old friends.
4. Prepare an extra meal to take home to your own family.
5. Serve our church community.
Seven folks are signed up so far . . . but we would like many more. We need to know by Sunday, February 12th, in order to know how much food to buy. Please contact Cathy Wheeler (wheelercc@rockinghamcc.edu) or Teresa Earles (teresaearles3@gmail.com) to sign-up. Thank you and we look forward to cooking with all of you and Butch!
UPCOMING YOUTH GROUP EVENTS - Today: We will learn how to stain glass. Sunday, February 12: We will participate in the Interfaith Tour (12:30-5:30 pm or so).
